When I was in Red Bank in the Fall for their Street Festival I saw there was a new guitar store in town. Unfortunately it was closed that day. Happened to be in the area on Saturday and stopped by. This is their front window! Ho, Ho, Ho!

They just showed a Guild Monday night on Antique Roadshow, (S26, Ep8, Part 2) from New Hampshire. They got the model correct as it was an ST-302 (you could see it on the label), but they called it a Starfire! Was this model ever referred to as a Starfire. EDIT: Was just reminded further down...

For those of you that have time to a quick 15 Podcast, I found this to be an interesting story. The story of the women who stepped up to produce thousands of guitars during World War II, only to be written out of the history.

So somebody on the "Guild Guitars Owners and Fans" facebook page has posted a photo of his 1981 S-250. Other then the TRC being up-side-down I had never seen a S-250 without binding. I would have thought it was a "four knob" S-25! (I have seen "two knob" and "three knob" S-25's so why not...

Since GAD asked about alternate tuning for his acoustic reviews I was just wondering how many people here played in/with alternate tunings.

Just looked through the lastest issue of Vintage guitar and Guild has an ad for the M-20E. Then there is also an ad for Cordoba Classical Guitars.

Somebody posted this photo on one of the Guild facebook groups. He says the guitar on the right is an S-400! Did we know that existed?
