    Model?

Somebody posted this photo on the Guild Guitar Owners and Fans facebook page. Care to speculate on the model and year w/o a serial number.

    Pilot Prototype that got away?

EWH posted this photo on "Let's Talk Bass". This looks just like a Bass that I ran across 30 years ago at a music store around the South Jersey/Philly area. I didn't have the cash in hand and they wouldn't take a credit card! (Didn't have an ATM card yet!) I was going to go back the next...

    Merry Guildmas from Relic Music

When I was in Red Bank in the Fall for their Street Festival I saw there was a new guitar store in town. Unfortunately it was closed that day. Happened to be in the area on Saturday and stopped by. This is their front window! Ho, Ho, Ho!

    Guild on Antique Roadshow!

They just showed a Guild Monday night on Antique Roadshow, (S26, Ep8, Part 2) from New Hampshire. They got the model correct as it was an ST-302 (you could see it on the label), but they called it a Starfire! Was this model ever referred to as a Starfire. EDIT: Was just reminded further down...

    Non-Guild interesting history story

For those of you that have time to a quick 15 Podcast, I found this to be an interesting story. The story of the women who stepped up to produce thousands of guitars during World War II, only to be written out of the history.

    Let's talk about S-250's & S-25's

So somebody on the "Guild Guitars Owners and Fans" facebook page has posted a photo of his 1981 S-250. Other then the TRC being up-side-down I had never seen a S-250 without binding. I would have thought it was a "four knob" S-25! (I have seen "two knob" and "three knob" S-25's so why not...

    Alternate tunings?

Since GAD asked about alternate tuning for his acoustic reviews I was just wondering how many people here played in/with alternate tunings.

    What's with this Flyer Bass?

Yes I know this should be in the Bass Forum but since the general public never goes there this post would only be seen by about three people! We need some new discussion threads here. All the current threads are really getting a little stale. I was looking at this piece of Guild advertising...

    Guild Vintage Guitar Magazine Ad

Just looked through the lastest issue of Vintage guitar and Guild has an ad for the M-20E. Then there is also an ad for Cordoba Classical Guitars.

    S-400?

Somebody posted this photo on one of the Guild facebook groups. He says the guitar on the right is an S-400! Did we know that existed?

    Guild Mandolin

I was looking for photos of something else and ran across these. Although I believe I've posted these before, I thought I'd post them again for the newer members. (And because I can!) It's a long story I could tell you over a couple of cold ones but I let this one get away! Still...

Have I not been paying attention?

Is the restoration of the "Joined" "Messages" and "Reaction Score" new or have they been there a while?

And now for something completely different!

Many years ago I was contacted through my Guilds of Grot website about purchasing some Guild guitar prototype drawings. The guy emailed me a zip folder of pics of the drawings. At the time I didn't think they were worth what he wanted so I passed. When I was doing some computer backing up today...

    Guild Magazine Ads

As many of you know I have a large collection of Guild literature, (though probably not as big as GAD's). Along with the Catalogs, Brochures, Flyers, and Price sheets I have also collected Guild Magazine Ads, (hence the title of the thread!) Here's an Guild ad from the April, 1983 edition of...

    Regional Delicacies

Over on the Covid 19 Humor thread we veered into food. So I'm moving the subject to it's own thread. Since we have people from all over the world here on LTG tell us about food stuffs that you have in your area that other people might never have heard of. We started with Pork Roll/Taylor Ham...

    NEW GUITARCHITECTURE

Here we go with our next Guilds of Grot adventure. Please remain seated and keep your hands inside the vehicle at all times! In the late 80's Guild came out with their NEW GUTACHITECTURE Catalog. For the most part it was updated models from the MODERN AVIATION Catalog. (Now more Pointy!)...

    The Guilds of Grot

Well since the posting of my Guilds in my Signature didn't quite turn out to be the laugh I was hoping it would be, I thought I'd start a new thread so everybody can enjoy! (Not sure if the Signature was visible on phones!) Here's the current lot: 1965 Guitar S-200 Thunderbird 6-String...

    MAHOGANY RUSH

This is the third and last installment of the three "matching" Guild Catalog/Brochures. Now you have to wonder did they pay any royalties to the Canadian band of the same name? Mahogany Rush Now unfortunately I don't own any of the guitars pictured, but if you read the last paragraph...
