No, that is a modified Les Paul Deluxe from 1969/1970.

The one Midnight Toker is looking for is this one with some very specific maple lines, like fingerprints there is only one. She was already refinished by Joe Walsh so had no serial number anymore when he sold her to Jimmy Page in 1969. Most experts believe she is either from late 59 or early 60.

Correct....except it wasn't truly refinished (as in the top) it only had the neck shaved down and was probably sanded all the way to the top of the headstock, making the serial illegible.

Joe Walsh pre-James Gang playing at Kent State University in a band called "The Measles." Checkout the speaker cab on the far right with "The Measles" emblazoned on it.

Good backline of Fender Amps. Good Ludwig. Great guitars! Nice van. And a goofy Hofner bass copy. They might be going places!

I may have missed this in 77 pages: Tom Renaud, Lord Huron

Hans identified Neil's Guild as a 1963 DE-500. But if I read this correctly the guitar was not owned by Neil but was on loan from Duane Eddy himself!

Ralf
No, that sunburst Guild DE-500 was borrowed from The Dillards. The guitar that was borrowed from Duane Eddy for a recording session was a blonde finished one.

Sincerely,
