Guildarist in the mod squad
I find it a bit annoying that no newsletter came from cordoba about this. They advertise with „become an insider“ but not even their website has any infos…
It's like they don't care.but not even their website has any info
It would arguably be worse if two “guys” suffered the same fate. Let’s hope that’s not the case.I'll call my guy at Cordoba and see if I can get any information. I just hope that "my guy" isn't the same one as GAD's "guy."
This is my first time seeing this thread and that guitar. Price point is great. I am especially happy to see the LB1 in the bridge position with a SC neck and middle position. For I while I have felt that would be a good combination and contemplated modding a S70 that I had already modified with a Guildsby, A/B alternate pickup wiring setup and middle pickup volume attenuator.
I like what looks like a maple neck with the Jetstar reverse Firebird headstock.
Not sure about the thru strings as I like vibrato's but I'll try it. Not crazy about the rocker switch and I would not have gave it a fenderish body. A symmetric horn Aviator body would have been more Guildish. However, I like new and old styles so I will buy one once they become available.

Not according what that shop in Poland posted:I wonder if one of volume or tone switch works in combination with the toggle switches.
Kind of like the original iMacs. One way to attract attention to a new product is to offer it in people's favorite colors.
They might have to temporarily rename it the “Noliner”.Another thing for thought. "Surfliner" is actually a registered mark of the National Railroad Passenger Corporation, so I wonder if CMG got the permission using this name for the Guild Surfliner...
