Not sure if this is relevant - interesting vid of a DeArmond Bajo-Jet, demonstrating 3 pickups
controlled with 2 toggle switches. Would have to do some memorizing vs the 3 separate switches on
the Surfliner.

I don't know how a normal user gets a login to the Guild site so I think the password protected page is an IT error at Guild's end and not a special access of Ralf's.

The Google search

site:https://guildguitars.com Surfliner

shows the same protected page so the cat is still using the litter box and has not come out yet.

Your link is password protected. I couldn’t find anything on the unprotected site.
Same for me. Cat's still in the bag!
You guys are really hard to please.... Didn't you read that I wrote "But only partial..."

Just a teaser!

"Influenced by the eccentric shapes of Atomic Era Guilds, the Guild Surfliner compliments the brand lineage by combining classic styling with modern features."

Reading about "Atomic Era Guilds" when that little "Who must not be named" plays with Atomic ******* is cruel...

The three "Surfliner" colors now in New Zealand! Poland to New Zealand...What a marketing strategy... (and forget the 404 you see there).

Ralf
Got it! The secret word is "land"!!
Next stop of the cargo : Greenland! If they make it there, they'll make it anywhere!!
( Leaked transcript of a strategic meeting at Cordoba's Surf-Boards-Recycling Facility :
"Ice is melting fast, white bears are bound to surf ,and look at those lovely matching painted-houses in Nuuk!! Co-he-rence is our motto! Next target: Swaziland!!Who is our man in Mbabane? Barney?"

Am curious to get my hands on this model guitar. Already planning to add a Guildsby. I'm thinking the Guildsby type used on the '70's Deluxe will fit nicely and the seperate tensioner can be installed at an angle to cover the string through-holes.
Oh...and a white one is on its way!

As an aside... I was planning to modify a Jetstar into a 12-strring model with the strings alligned like a Ric with the high octave string "behind" the lower octave string. Now I'm thinking this new model would be a better model with the single coils and maple neck. Then again it may be too jangly!

I am going to be at NAMM next week and will get confirmation. I am not seeing these on the guild site.

Yeah Tom. I am with you on the string ferrules. Also digging the look of the single coils and who doesn't like an HB in the position?
I am hoping they have one I can see at NAMM.

Yes...it is kind of weird that Sam Ash is selling them on eBay already. I didn't see them at the Sam Ash online listing.

I guess it's possible Guild was going to do the USA grand announcment at NAMM but the LTG sleuths exposed the new product and Sam Ash decided to jump the gun!
