As Walter stated it is a Bigsby bridge which is designed for a wound 3rd (G) string. It also only goes on one way, the way it is in the photo. Nice looking guitar!
Sent the photos to Hans so hopefully he will be able to get them posted. Didn't see any acoustics that were that interesting, there was a 1978 D-40, but not much else this time. Was glad to be able to go to a show since the last couple have been cancelled.

Anybody know what the wire running between the pole pieces underneath the cover on a Franz pick-up is for? I had never taken the cover off of one before and was quite surprised to see it.
Does Lemmy appear in any of the videos (ie-Woodstock, Monterey Pop, etc) of the JHE/BoG? As a roadie he most likely would be standing just off stage while the band played.
My buddies early Telecaster (I think it is from 1952). He paid $400 for it about 10 years ago, one of the pick-ups is non-original, but check out the thermometer case!
