Guitar Show Photos-need help posting

I attended the Orange County Vintage Guitar Show this past weekend. Took a couple of photos of guitars that were there, I have no affiliation with the sellers other than I have talked with them over the years. The photos were taken with an iPhone 11, need help in posting them. The guitars were a '57 A-500, '62 Duane Eddy DE-500 and a '66 Starfire VI. I could also text the photos if somebody else wants to post them, just PM me with your phone number.

Click on the "insert image" button that's along the ribbon at the top of the posting box. Drag and drop? No pics of acoustics?

Sent the photos to Hans so hopefully he will be able to get them posted. Didn't see any acoustics that were that interesting, there was a 1978 D-40, but not much else this time. Was glad to be able to go to a show since the last couple have been cancelled.

Also, the "attach files" button above and to the left of the "post reply" should do it.

Since I saw the word "iphone11" do the instructions also apply on a mobile device? I have gotten dinged (not quite as bad as being Hans'd or Ralf'd) a couple of time for posting instructions that only worked on a PC.

Norm bought at least one if not more Guilds at the OC show. He posted only a teaser so far, no videos yet.

When posting from your phone, the controls may be greyed out. To fix this, do the following:

Click the three dots on the right side of the controls:

Then click the [ ] which should make all the other controls become available:



Once that's done, you should be able to click the little picture which will give you the window that lets you click on it to upload pics from your phone library:

iphones don't do usual jpg or jpeg anymore they use a different picture format called HEIC or HEIF. Maybe that's the problem?

Iphones do jpeg, but you have to turn that on because they default to the newer format.
