That's an X-125; an early model that did not make it to regular production!
Here's my '54 X150...really interesting comparing your beautiful x-125. Mine has no f/b binding, pickup placement different, and no G on headstockAt first I thought it was an X-50 with an added cutaway, but it has fancier appointments (bound neck, blocks, plain G inlay). Plus, the pickup position (closer to the bridge) is different from an X-50. So, maybe an uncataloged model?
No, not mine.Is that yours, GGJ?
If it’s the x150 you mean GGJ, it’s mine. It came to from Jay Pilzer about 10 years ago. It plays beautifully with a dark voice. No, not mine.

Sorry, I understand now! It is the most beautiful guitar!!M54, that was me asking GGJ if the X-125 was his! It remains a mystery who it belongs to!

Where did you find the picture , GGJaguar?
Both pictures are just very low resolution and it's a trick of light I'd say. Hans mentioned this already in the 2013 thread I posted after the guitar went to ebay in 2016. I don't know the ebay pictures from that time.So it has been refinished? Or just "cleaned up"?
I kinda like that mini cutaway shape....Here was a previous discussion of her.
1955 Guild X 125
Hi, I have a Guild archtop electric with a serial number that places it in 1955. It has a New York guitar shaped label that clearly states the model as an X125. Looking at the guitar and some specific finish issues, it looks to be the guitar that is in the 1956 catalog as the new Capri...letstalkguild.com
She is the same guitar as posted in post #1! (when playing with the resolution and brightness you can compare all marks as the same).
The right pictures has to be newer as it has a few new marks which have not been on the guitar in 2013 yet.
