The beauty of having several guitars around the 'manor' is that you're able to leave one or more in different tunings. I've said before that my wife's guitar is always in Open G....and I'm not telling! :wink:southernGuild said:I've Been playing the strings off of my Gad30 lately,.... in OPEN D. For ME a musical nirvana!!! I think that i am going to just keep her tuned there always!! I am just loving this great "new" sound, coming out of the guitar, and am learning new chords and songs!!!
THAT will keep me grooving for a while now! I am a happy Guilder!! Southern

It's the only way to lead a totally Guilded life. Plus, you're providing a good home for our favorite guitars. :wink:12stringer said:Having a few guitars around is great!

It's about that time of year for the snowbirds to start leaving the northern climes and migrating south. :wink:Dr Izza Plumber said:My JF30-12 'burst should be here within the hour. The scale is quite long (26 1/2") and the overall tone is very bright. I don't play it too well yet but I'm working on it.
Love Django's stuff.... really opens your horizon musically, and mind blowing when you realize he was missing one finger!
Beautiful guitar too.... I can hear the manouche music just looking at it!

Believe it's a Gibson 335? Not sure but he may have recorded NIWS with a Telecaster.Paddlefoot said:Tonight it's the SF IV. Caught a bit of a chord progression and checked You toob. Found Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues playing Nights In White Satin on his SF IV.
