D35 called from the wall and it's in my lap as I watch the ballgame and keep an eye on LTG....you know, multi-tasking.

Playing a bunch of JCash in A. Sound just like him, too. :?:

This morning the DeArmond M75T. This afternoon the model 37 Dobro. Now taking five from the Guild D-46 BLD to give my fingers a short break. The only thing better then a day off, is a rainy day off with nothing to do but PLAY! 8) :D

The DCE1 because I'm visiting the folks. Nice and portable. No amp needed.

West,
That would be a semi-hollow Gibson.

I broke down and put a new set of D'Addario bluegrass strings on my D25, after having 'cleaned' the strings it was cool for the blues, smoky whiskey old time sound, but new strings are always, bright and chimey, excitring.......like a musical puppy. You see, Kildeer an me are going to say 'hi' on Monday....how cool is that..now how am I goin' to meet the rest of youse guys. ....tonight, I'm goin' to snuggle up to my F112 for a bit, too. Steffan

These days, we might think it as a Starfire wannabee. But back in the 70s they made a tremendous guitar in that model, I had one for a while and you could make st sound like a bell.....lovely sound and range... :D Steffan

Didn't see this tread 'til the day after. Last night, Thursday, played my Orville LP Special and chambered tele (ash body, maple cap, maple neck and brazilian fingerboard) at rehearsal.

Tonight it will be loud fun in the basement music room with the Yamaha SGV800. Looks like a surf guitar (and is, with that amazing tremelo), but tonally speaking way into P90 land and blues.

I play the D66 and the D40 every day... so much so that some of the others are starting to sit.

So, sense this was for last night, I played my Yamaha L-20A at my weekly Thursday jam.
Of all my guitars, the Yammie gets the most comments.
Folks are always surprised at how great it sounds.
It is a special guitar and I'm very fortunate to own it.

It's dark and rainy already, so after some good Mexican food for dinner and a cold Corona or two (?), I plan to kick back and play my D152535504-12!

And maybe some of those other ones, too!

Life is just a dream....sh'boom,
Joe

Playing the DCE1 again tonight as I'm still on vacation and visiting the folks. Dad got out the old Harmony I left here for him to play and we jammed out "Walk Don't Run." \m/-_-\m/

Many hands/fingers started out with them.....and many probably gave up on them!

Yeah, it's not the easiest thing to play. With a little work it could be decent, but I think I paid something like $40 for it at a flea market some 15 years ago. Needed a cheap beater portable git and it served the purpose. Dad likes having one sitting around here to pickup once every few months so it still serves a purpose. I don't think he touches it much until I'm around then he gets it out and plays bits and pieces of oldies he remembers - Walk Don't Run, Hotel California, House of the Rising Sun, etc. He was a bass player back in the day and never really learned guitar, but then again neither did I. ;)
