If he still has it, guildzilla's is white. Or at least the one I saw when I was there was white. Better check with him though.

Okay, fine.I'll just have get on the list myself. Qvart and others told me to go vintage, and so I did. Mark me down for a '73 S-100 in walnut.

Ditto!!

Thanks my friend and burst lover...
I had made up my mind on a vintage one, and passed on a couple of re-issues, and patience finally paid off big time!!

Man, I am dying to get this thing in my hands! Hopefully Mr Treem has a good word for me here soon, but in the meantime here's a teaser...

I'm still not sure how this one flew under the radar and stayed there long enough for me to work something out with both the shop and Treem, but I'm not looking that gift horse in the mouth!

So is this Treem's '97 cherry, or something else? Spilleth thy beans.

Something else...something else entirely. Treem's just graciously doing the leg work for me. :D

Re: Very rudimentary S-100 owners roster

If you're asking to keep the S-100 Owners Roster handy, then it has to be an S-100, which means it's either a Standard, Carved or DeLuxe. Personally, I kind of hope it is a DeLuxe. And if it is, getting one for $800 is a damn good price. Same for a Carved. If it's a DeLuxe or a Carved, you did well, my brother.

Well, it's not a carved (ick...Hammer does not like) and it's not a Deluxe (would be nice, but, meh), but I will give you the S-100 guess. The serial number on this one really drove it home for me, although the color didn't hurt.

You got another green 1st reissue?!

I can answer that one for you: NO. If he even tried to snake me on that he'd be shaved, sterilized, and destroyed.

Not my fault everyone else was asleep at the wheel.

Hey, I was on the hunt and you know it. Of course not everyone has to amass 20 ga-zillion guitars either. Just you and Thunderface.
