Hey, I was on the hunt and you know it. Of course not everyone has to amass 20 ga-zillion guitars either. Just you and Thunderface.

What?! I'm hurt. I only have 9 ga-zillion guitars. I mean, 9 ga-zillion Guild guitars. You seem to know what guitar we're talking about, but I have no clue. Which one is Brother Hammer getting?

Sorry, can't cross the Hammer on this one. I may need him to stand down in the future when I'm closing in on an acquisition.

Re: Very rudimentary S-100 owners roster

Actually, it sounds like Treem might be a good ally to have in a quest for the "guitar I've always wanted." After all, it was Treem who first posted the sunburst S-100 Deluxe in Hollyweird that I bought. And Treem's doing the legwork for Hammerbox to get his third first reissue, so we should all have Treem on speed type.

True story. When I stumbled across the listing for what turned out to be Ol' Brown, my '73 nature boy DeLuxe, I first thought I had found a 1st reissue S-100 for you, Q. I was actually getting ready to PM you when I realized that I was mixing up the two guitars he had advertised and it was a mid-90s Gibson SG, and that the Guild was, in fact, a DeLuxe.

Although both Hammer and I have additional S-100s coming, let's give Mad Dog his due ...

Whitey at last?

Indeed. Well, another whitey (have the 94 with Duncans and the 00...neither of which touch the green machine, but...meh). I guess since Treem is picking it up for me tomorrow, it's safe to post.

Two small nicks...one you can see towards the back, near the strap button. The other is half that size and on the underside of the lower bout, so...no big whoop. And...the serial...FB000007.

I'm still not sure how this one got missed. Peoples' craiglist search-fu must not be strong lately.

Well, I don't get to sit in front of a computer all day like some people I know.

I wasn't even in front of the computer for the two days prior that it was posted. Even on the day I found it, I was only sitting here for no more than 30 mins. It's almost as if that guitar were...my density.

Hello, McFly!

Qvart's just irritated because he's temporarily been knocked out of the buying game with the need for new wheels. But I know he'll bounce back in time, and I'm betting in a big way he'll be back. In the meantime, Hammer, you are a lucky dawg for nabbing another 1st reissue.

I do seem to be cornering the market on those bad boys, don't I?

Cornering the market? You own the category. You're in a class by yourself. Roll call among the 1st reissue owners doesn't take long unless you repeat yourself.

"Hammer?! Here. Umm...... Hammer? Here! Ahhh .... Hammer?! Here!".

Plus, I've got to widen the columns on the spreadsheet now because of you, Mr. Trifecta.

It's all good...you guys can fight over the next one...unless it is black...I really wouldn't mind one in black...

You hit the submit button just as I was typing, "what about a black one?"

For those of you who aren't familiar, that's Hammer on the left and Treem on the right.  That picture was obviously taken long before this deal was consumated, hence the Strat in Hammer's hands.
