Hey West, I know this is a GAD and it is in San Francisco but it looks brand new and the seller is willing to negotiate off of their $300 price tag. You may be able to pick this one up shipped to you for less than $300. Just an idea and I still have my eyes peeled for an American Guild. Here is the link.

A friend of mine was in San Fran the other day and sent this to me... At that time it was $400... $300 is a steal as this is a great guitar!! My buddy has one and it is a joy to play.. This was an early series GAD and those are really good guits in my book! The pictures don't do it justice. This is a beautiful guitar and all solid hog. If someone doesn't jump on this one I might!!!

If y'all enjoyed that song by James, you'd be blown away by this whole CD. No, I'm not trying to sell it, but listen to these clips.....pretty good stuff. I know our member Graham loves this CD......I keep it in my truck. "The Bosque" is my favorite and is about a local river in the Stephenville area. James wrote some of these songs, plays acoustic and sings backround vocals on all of them, Joann is a fomer flame of James'.

Looks like a dandy bumper, but I don't know a sould in SF, and I'd be horrified about an internet buy from a Craiglist seller. At least eBay offers some measure of protection. Hey man, thanks. I appreciate your thinking of my good friend. This (LTG) really is a great place.

No sir, still waiting for the perfect deal. The guitar doesn't have to be perfect, but the deal does. I'd like to get him the most I can for the bucks. And you folks are working hard and I thank every one of you.

West...has the decision been made yet on the guitar?

And therein lies my inspration for this project. He has nothing but time on his hands, nobody around him, and this enormous talent, with no real guitar to play......and is one hell of a person to boot!

Hey West ,Very Talented man your James,There is a D4 but it's a 12 string for $300!, Would he play a 12 string but set up as a 6,like Killdeer has? Here is a link,http://eauclaire.craigslist.org/msg/5077481835.html

Thanks Sunpowder....where have you been? The last time we talked I believe it was regarding your DV73. Good to hear from you....and again, I appreciate it.

West, I guess I have been spending less time online of late and more time playing with a buddy of mine when I have "guitar free time". So, though I appreciate you noticing my absence, it has been a good change for me. :) I have never owned a DV73...a DV62 sunburst for a while — and since the last time I was a frequent poster, I have moved both my Tacoma guilds in favor of a 1967 Hoboken D-40, a birth-year guitar that I have always wanted to find. It is my first "vintage" guitar, and has opened my eyes to the Hoboken Guilds in a huge way. I love it.

Hope you are well. Also spotted this B-stock D150 at music go round: http://www.musicgoround.com/p/249615/used-guild-d-150-natural-acoustic-guitar-with-case
