First Treem now Mojo. The question is, who hasn't sealed their professed lust for an S-100 with a recent acquisition? Whose dreams can we make come true next?

Have I missed something?

Is someone on here selling a 70s S-100, and willing to send it overseas?

Didn't you say that Tommy's Guitar Sales, the one with the '73 S-100 on gbase, was willing to ship overseas (see the Another 73 S-100...) post.

So I did, but from what you were saying, I understood that several LTGers are selling theirs ...

I know that I'm selling my cosmetically-challenged but sonically beautiful '77 Standard.

My red '75 is for sale as well. Just waiting to see if Mojo's friend decides to pull the trigger on it. If not then it'll go up for grabs. Just out of curiosity, here overseas?

Overseas, as in, where I live, Belgium. Land of strong beers, chocolate and french fries ( yep, calling them " belgian fries " appeared to be too exotic of a name for the anglo-saxon who labeled them ). :D

Yess, so I did get it right, Thunderface! And I rather buy a Guild of one of you guys, than of some store ...

And we'd rather sell you one rather than one of some store. :D Now a normal salesman would say, "buy mine!" But I am not normal, nor have I ever been accused of being normal. I'd say "buy Qvart's (cherry '75)." If money isn't an object, you'd be getting a beautiful guitar with an original hardshell case with Qvart's. With mine, you'd be getting a cosmetically inferior but sonically sound S-100 with a non-original hardshell case for less money.

Any suggestions on best way to package this model for safe shipping and support of the headstock? will be helpful for both seller Chestnutdog and myself.

Nothing different than shipping any other model. Loosen the strings. Pad the empty spaces inside the case, or anywhere you think the guitar might need some support (I would pack something around the end pin). Maybe bubble wrap the headstock. Etc. Lots of packing at the top and bottom of the box. I always keep a box or two when guitars are shipped to me so I've got lots of foam peanuts for when I need to ship.

Oh, and make sure it has the usual "fragile" markings and "this end up" so it never gets flipped upside down in transit.

Sending good vibes to keep the packing and shipping gremlins at bay! You're not gonna want to put it down when you get it!
