This one just has to stay in the family. Who among us has(n't) lusted after a vintage S-100?

D.G., aren't you due for a roadtrip or quick flight to the CONUS?

Question, what kind of tuners are those. I know they're not Grovers.

Yeah, I've been meaning to head on down to Seattle to link up with my old military friends, but that's going to be a long way off.

Oh, well. Hopefully someone from this forum will snag that nice guit. :)

I had to put mittens on so I wouldn't succumb to the same feeling. They have "You're in selling mode" embroidered on the backs.

according to THE Book, it should have Grover Rotomatics in 72 for the S-100 deluxe. Is this one considered a deluxe?

Nope. Deluxes have the modified Guildsby/Bigsby.

Nope. The Deluxes have the Guildsby tremolo (like the ones in my avatar). This one is a Standard ... Dang you're fast, Q! You responded while I was typing mine.

i still think it should have Grovers on it though, since the other one you listed has them and is the same model, but I sent Hans a message to see what he would say about them.

my finger is hovering right over the buy it now.

Even if the tuners are non-original, that's worth $750 - minimum.

Well I'll be damned.......it's after 11:00 and no one's snagged it yet. Over 100 views in the little time it's been posted. LTG'ers excluded that's some good traffic.

Oh well, good luck y'all. Hope someone around gets it and digs it. Whoever doesn't will have to settle for my red '75. Boo hoo!

Or a battle-scarred but still great-sounding '77 Standard. :)
