    Songbird/S4CE serial numbers

If you're a sit down player that placement can be bothersome. So, I much prefer the knobs on the shoulder. I actually have 4 Songbirds/S4CE. 2 with waist knobs and 2 with shoulder knobs They're all in excellent condition. And professionally set up. I'm actually looking to unload the waist knobs...

    90s Songbird

Really, any tech/luthier that is half decent should be able to replace it with pretty much whatever you want.

    WTB Songbird knobs

Thank you. I think I've gone through every knob set on reverb as well as some dude who has a web page claiming he has spare guild knobs and still no joy.

    WTB Songbird knobs

Wouldn't the fishman just be sliders? I'm looking for the waist knobs for the 1992 Songbird. They're kinda rubbery or a really soft plastic

    Calling All Enablers😊

That sounds like sissy talk! I have 2 models of the S4CE and 2 Songbirds (essentially the same model as the S4) and that took no effort on my part at all... at all. So, I think you'll find that if you put maybe a small bit of effort in on your part, you'll see that you can easily justify having...

Did I buy a knock off?

They certainly do and what a cool dude he is to message me about it. I like that Hans kid. He's going places! ;)

Did I buy a knock off?

It sounds fine, but then again I'm probably not the greatest person to ask about that since I play an unplugged les paul or semi hollowbody most of the time. These songbirds sound loud and wonderful to me since they're acoustic.

Did I buy a knock off?

I just bought another Songbird, (that's 4 now, but I plan on selling 2) and it's serial # is KK002290. I can't find that number on any of the decoders whether it's the manual decoder or the find my guitar decoder... It looks real enough, it's a decent brown one with shoulder knobs (I plan on...

    S4 Vs Songbird

So My unicorn was sent with a Guild Owners manual book... It says the strings on electrics and acoustics should use: Sidebenders E-200 Super light E-220 Extra-Light E-230 Extra-Light wound 3rd E-240 Light I've looked this up many different ways, but I get nothing back. What gauges are the...

    S4 Vs Songbird

You, sir, are correct, I called him up and told him the songbirds and S4s were shipped with 10s and right away he said oops and that we could get away with 11s... but the 12s have only been on a couple months so I'm hoping no real damage. So, we'll change them out and maybe need to do a little...

    S4 Vs Songbird

I had my tech put 12s on my S4... It sounds fine but I don't want to do damage to the guitar... Although I can't see him doing something like that if it was gonna mess it up...(the dude's a straight up pro, full on luthier, took the classes. been doing this 35 years. he's awesome) Although, he...

    S4 Vs Songbird

I was gonna try to keep it to original specs… the guy who sold it to me seems to have have 9s or lighter on it and theyre definitely electric strings… Ive been putting 12s on my acoustics… you think thats too heavy?
