But, thankfully, this place isn't typical...
You guys are alright!
Cheers
Once again we have to thank Don and his team for keeping an eye but not a heavy hand on these things.
Cid and I love Jim and Kerry and Pam And Ken and Don and Darcy and Jeff and Michael and Carl and Elizabeth and Mark and David and Barbara and Doug and Norma and gosh I know I have forgotten some and I apologize for that.
The people we have personally met have been stellar human beings and friendships have been formed, from a distance, that rival those of nearby friends. It is truly unique and special. I don't want to jeopardize those friendships, however, it is very comforting to know that we can share our differences as well as our similarities.
If it gets too hot, I'll take it to a PM or agree to disagree.
Of course when all else fails....
I think it's important to be able to talk, but sometimes in a public place like this we have to watch ourselves. I think we should be sensitive when people have been touched by one of these difficult subjects because as I said earlier it becomes all but impossible to find humor in it (sorry, Plaid). Then again, perhaps seeing the humor is part of the healing process. That's sort of worked for me with alcohol, but not with suicide. Maybe another day.
And, dayuhan... Wow... I am happy that that whole experience didn't end in disaster. My goodness. Best wishes!
