Speaking only for myself and no one else, I'm proud to be working on the N.H. Guilds after putting in many years working on Ovations. The change and challenge has been a new experience that we feel we are up to meeting head on. Ask all the questions that you want to, but don't be surprised if we don't give specific answers. Hang in there, they're coming.

So, mandorlo, I'm whispering the following mantra in your ear so it gets into your subconscious for a forthcoming special edition...

F612, F612, F612

See, you didn't really hear it, but it's there in you brain now. :)

Seriously, we're all really glad to hear what you're saying, and that seems to fall in line with what your GM told me.

Guilds have a very proud heritage (particularly around here) and you'll not find a more loyal bunch anywhere.

You have tough shoes to fill since the Tacoma guys (IMO) were really getting it right toward the end. None of us here really knows what happened in the FMIC board room that brought Guild to Kaman, but we are really glad to hear that you're jazzed up about it. Please pass the word to the other Guilders there that we are waiting to hear any/all info that you can share, and we'd love to come take a factory tour with someone when the time is right.

And Mando you're a secret agent from the management to find out how the new Guilds will go down - well, heck, you're even more welcome

I won't take issue with the content of what the "Count" stated in his posting, EXCEPT that, as a "Connecticut" resident, I would have appreciated the capitalization of the first letter of the name of our wonderful state....lol.

Personally, I've only owned my "Guild" for a short time, and it's been a great experience so far. I hope the same good results come from future production models.

It's going to be a struggle, requiring persistence, patience and long-range thinking by the parent company. These are not qualities FMIC demonstrated with the Tacoma adventure.

Well, I think that Fender REALLY got it right with the Tacoma Guilds. And, I think they got it right with the Corona Guilds too (at least all the ones I played). As for Westerly, Hoboken, and New York, we all know how great they are.

I'll say it again... the only thing that will surprise me is if the New Hartford Guilds aren't every bit the equal of Guild's earlier efforts.

Yes, they are salad bowls but they look, taste and smell just like rosewood. Indian that is, not the good Brazilian plastic they use on the Ovations.

I will tell you all I know, But then I will have to hunt you all down and kill all of you. LOL.

These Guilds will be all and then some to the Tacoma line. The people in Tacoma built a great guitar and it has taken time to get the new place up and running but these will be awesome guitars!

Cant say who i am, but I am giving it 110% to build the greatest guilds ever!

Nice to have that kind of commitment to the new cause. I'm not feeling as bad about missing the Tacoma boat now.

Absolutely! It's very gratifying to know that the folks working on the new Guilds are really excited about the guitars and care enough to stop in here at LTG and share that. Great craftsmanship involves the wood and the machines and the designs, but it's really all about people, IMO.

Thanks for the slice!

Welcome to the the Forum, who ever you are. :D
It will be great having someone from inside the factory here on the site.

We are all very excited to see the "NEW" Guild Line up.
I just wish that it wasn't all such a big secret.

Probably good marketing though.
It has us all giddy!

THAT, is a beautiful bowl! Nice tongs too
Two of my friends here on the island are wood turners and have made several of those.

Oh, and the new D55s sound great.
