Why'd you have to do that, Schoolie? Just curious. Beautiful guitar!
The stock tuner posts are 6mm. The replacements were 6.5mm and would not fit. Maybe I should have left the originals alone, but I couldn't help myself..Born to mod LOL

Today, a sweet but punchy-in-maple CJ-165ec from 2007. Later marketed in a shallower version as a parlor model, the 15” body is quite small overall, as you can see when compared to the 16” J-185, and even smaller than the 1973 15” small-jumbo F-30R (along side a 16” 74 F-40).

Morris Tornado TZJ, a Japanese thin line Ovation clone.

Hauled my old beater guitar out to evaluate whether I want to keep it or not. It is guitar that has travelled. I bought it in Japan in the 1980s, and it has been on boats, buses, taxis, planes, canoes. etc. Used and abused, the OHSC eventually disintegrated.

It sounds nice with new strings. It is a good background texture guitar for recording. The minimal electrics don't sound too quacky for a guitar of its age.

No time for pics. Here is one similar. The neck on my mine is smoke grey not natural hog. The top on mine is a grey smoke-burst, not black.

Today, I played the following guitars:

Guild M-240E Troubadour
Guild F-30
Guild D-25
Guild D-35
Guild D-50
Guild D-55
Breedlove C2 (one off the first models)

If I get a chance to play mine, I can add a G-37 and F-50 to this list as well.

^ WOW! That's quite a rotation for one day, Boomstick. Nice.
Yeah my dad basically owns a Guild acoustic guitar museum. I probably didn’t even get half of them out that day. I usually go over and restring them for him and play them a bit.

This little beauty has been up to bat these past two days, with continuous cold heavy rain outside and nothing much to do but read or play. Lord how I love this one. Such incredible depth. This one will vibrate you to the bone. This one has a German spruce top with Adi bracing. Collings' Orpheum slope shoulder if you will.........both impressions of the Gibson J45 I'd assume. The "CJ G".
