Don't know if any of you are like me, but I like to cycle through my guitars over time. So, thought I'd share... And please contribute...

I have to admit that I have not played in couple of weeks so today I did not leave the house and cycled through my 4 guitars and 4 ukes. They all needed tuning up so its probably time to get the soundhole humidifiers out again.

Just had my Cordoba GK Pro Negra setup, so it's now in my living room and gets played more often than going down stairs to my music area in the basement. It's also new (this summer) so I need to bond with it. Haven't tried it through an amp yet (they're in the music area). Picture is from the Sweetwater page, but is the guitar I bought.

I am primarily an electric player, but since I have moved to the North East I am playing my acoustics more. I take them out every week to keep the sponges wet and since they are out, they get played more. Today it is the 1959 M-30. Lovely sounding guitar!

I primarily play unplugged electric guitars at home, quietly noodling on the couch or in a chair. But my M-20 is in my music room for when I have the urge to play acoustic. It has been my "go-to" acoustic since I bought it from a friend back in 1981.

On Thanksgiving Day, between fixing side dishes, there was some guitar playing. We were at my sister's house. Even though she doesn't play much anymore, there are several guitars there to play. Plus her younger son brought his Martin. She has a Martin OM-15, which we figured out is about 22 years old! Also a Guild D-4 from '93, which used to be mine.[so I like to play it] Both of those were played. Also she has an old Lotus which is probably 42 years old and sounds better than it really should. Both of her grown sons play guitar so it's nice when we all get together. Of course I didn't think to take pictures!

I've played my 70 D 35 today. I brought it inside the house because every four hours I have to put three different eyedrops in my eye post cataract surgery, and they would like them spaced out three to five minutes. Have you ever experienced three minutes is while you sit there doing nothing? I've yet to do less than ten while playing and time zips by. I think the D 35 will stay inside for a while. I get lazy once the studio lights get turned off and it seems too much trouble to go out and fire up the software. I'm rather addicted to stereo mixing the acoustics even if I don't process the signal much, plus the vocal mic gets turned on too. Since I got my MOTU M6, I love having four inputs, though I only use three.

Schoolie, do you like the Martin J-40? I've heard nothing but great things about the 12-string version of this guitar. I've never tried a Martin in this size. (oh, and by the way, I'm not talking about the Grand J)...
Hi Chazmo. I love the sound and volume of my J-40. It's has a very articulate and rich sound, with great bass. Unfortunately, I find the neck is not very comfortable, and feels a little cramped. Although the nut width is 1.7", around 0.18" is binding. This is a 2012 model that I got in a trade for some electrics. My F-47 is almost as good, sound-wise, and I like the neck better.
