Back in the early 90s yes about 30 years ago when I was first exposed to the internet we though that the sharing of information would quickly lead to greater knowledge and improved decision making for all mankind. Now only a few decades later it looks like the sharing of stupidity and misinformation is leading mankind in the opposite direction!

Yeah, sometimes I think this is why we can't have nice stuff.
