Since Klos sells dreads, I wouldn't assume that. RB can call or email them and ask if it will hold a dread — and a dread case, too. The raincoat looks pretty big.
Charlie,
Just so you know, I contacted KLOS, as you suggested, on Monday, and got a reply today (Wednesday).
Their full-size instruments are smaller than standard dreadnoughts and jumbos, so their cover is about 39" long and won't fit the 46" length my cases require.
So for now, I'm stuck with using the far less elegant oversized plastic bag and twist-tie cover when the weather turns wet. Functionally fine, but aesthetically very unsatisfying.
My quest for a DIY solution carries on although the components for my initial design are surprisingly expensive.
My research continues.......

For what it's worth, no one cares. People look hard at guitars, but only we see our peripherals.

Let us know if you solve it!

By the way, you might Google ABS cases. Those plastic cases tend to be pretty airtight.
