I refused to ever watch that movie because of that scene. Criminals choose to be criminals. The poor horse would be innocent.

As a teenager I was curious about Hoffa's disappearance mainly 'cuz he was last seen in public at a restaurant my dad often went to on business lunches. The Machus Red Fox. Very average food but great location in the well-off 'burbs northwest of Detroit. I got my first "serious" job, as a technical writer, during a dinner/interview at that place! The building is still there, still a restaurant, but with different ownership and name.
