I was adjusting the rear view in the Bronco one day and it came off in my hand. I couldn't let the opportunity go unused, and I said exactly that as I ... lifted the lid and put the mirror in the console.
The mirror in my ‘78 280Z was on a kind if ball/socket joint that designed to come apart in an accident. I learned that I could pull it off and used to use that line all the time.

I'm trying to picture the steps needed to get that ladder in the right place in the bucket and against the house. Extend it while sitting in the bucket? Have out already and somehow rotate it around and up to lean on the house?

Use the ladder to get to the bucket, then pull the ladder up behind you maybe?

That device probably has a "blade" with diamond bits adhered to the edge, not sharp teeth. It cuts via abrasion of the concrete & steel rebar.

So it wouldn't lop off someone's limb if he lost control of it . . . but it sure would hurt to get hit by either the rotating blade or the flung machine itself.

But then you should - observing from this side of the pond - not the typical mainstream . . .errr . . . stuff - that's pouring most of the time 😂
