What are the post counts associated with each member type, i.e. - member, senior member, venerated member?

Two questions. Is the "insert link" button how we insert a video? And, I'm missing the "up arrow" that used to be on the bottom right at the end of a thread to jump you back up to the top of the thread page. Did it move? I actually seem to think I see it once in a while but it disappears! Either I'm dreaming or do I need to hold the cursor in a certain place?

Oh my! As soon as I posted that, I see it! You have to be all the way down to the bottom of the thread, and then a blue arrow appears!

It looks to me like this:
> 20.000 posts = Reverential Member
> 10.000 posts = Venerated Member
> 1.000 posts = Senior Member
> 100 posts = Member
> 10 posts = Junior Member
< 10 posts = no member description

Thanks Ralf. I was demoted from Senior Member to Member. :-(

I just set it to 2MB with a max size of 2000x2000

That is more than enough for any web-based image. Example: this is 1600x1200 and 903k (.9MB)

BTW you can now drag images right from your computer into the edit area - no need to use the picture icon!

But not enough for a photo straight from my phone. They're at 4.20MB.
Yeah that part stinks . Some phones have the ability to select image size . This might be older phones I don't know but worth looking into .
Thing is for the forum to handle that much added info that the large pics contain Gad would need a tone of storage .
The down side for us is we have to resize the photos and if you want to show off your new guitar it becomes a pain in the butt if you take a bunch .
Imgar if I wasn't tripping or something actually has a resize option but I need to try it again as I couldn't import the pics to here .

Hello

A nice thing about this new platform - when I open site - go to "New posts" - it knows where I was last time - and opens it just right there - on table-top computer.

Very nice.

And my humble expression of gratitude for all the work, devotion & hours you put on this site, so rest of us can fool around. KIITOS!

So - question - I don't really care, but no more post count in our avatar, then?

No. Hover over an avatar and it shows up in the lower left of the display as "Messages". There is clearly some new vocabulary we need to use: Post->Message and PM->Conversation are two that come to mind immediately. If you cant find something look for it where it used to be and try a hover.

Ah thanks I see it there! Yes, "post" vs "messages" is going to take a while. I'm still thinking a "message" is a PM...

Also, now you can use the actual YouTube "Share" link for posting videos instead of having to copy and paste from the address bar of the video page, which is nice. Also, the drag and drop feature for posting photos is so nice. Thanks for all of this Gary!! It's all new and different but also much better in so many ways. I appreciate the hard work you've put in...... (y)

I posted kudos about this elsewhere, but this is an awesome feature. Drag and drop rocks. For Mac users, you can do this right from Photos into Chrome. Didn't try it with Safari, but probably works the same!

What browser supports auto logon in the new software? I have to enter my password now each time so I can post.
