Questions About the new Software

This is the place to ask questions about how the new software works.

For example: What the hell is a conversation?

Conversations are the new PMs. With conversations, you can invite people sort of like a group-chat. Otherwise they behave pretty similarly.

No worries. It was an easy fix to re-size, plus a larger jpg size (400x400 pixels) is allowed here. I think the other software was 100x100.

I noticed that in the old software the attachements were much bigger, now they look tiny (I mean a post created under the old software). I assume that is becasue the new software detecs them as "Thumbnail" instead ofd "Full image", right?

I can't find where you log out, no big deal. While checking out the new, improved, now even better site, I was on the trophies page and there is a logout link there. just FYI, or I don't understand, anyway, thanks to Gary for what he does.

Click on your username. Also I think if you scroll all the way down a logout slides up from the bottom.

I noticed there's no multiquote button. HOWEVER, I stumbled upon a way to multiquote! You can just go ahead and start a comment in a thread, then if you hit anybody's 'reply with quote' button, it'll get inserted into your existing comment. Then if you hit anybody else's 'reply with quote' button, it'll also get inserted into your existing comment! Multiquote! You may have to cut and paste to put things in the order you want, but hey, I think we can handle that!

O.k., I test it, lets see how that appears... When I read Cougar's description I was like "That sounds complicated" when Gary answered "it's much simpler"... Oh, and thanks for adding the EDIT and DELETE!

Hey I can't see an edit button ? I posted in the Westerly serial number thread in acoustics . I posted a reply with pics few hours ago but stopping back by a few minutes ago my post was only text .. I quoted my post hit post reply and BAM there my pics in my original post . What's also weird is when I was looking for the my OP it was showing about half down in the thread when it should have been at the bottom which it is now .
It's my dang sexy fingers I guess . Lol
