Oh yeah, now that they're mentioned:

That Girl
Our Miss Brooks

Two very favorites!! Way later was Dark Shadows, but I watched it regularly!!
Ah, Our Miss Brooks--Eve Arden I had a thing for even during the show's first run. I think that was one of the reasons I fell for Vicki--she had the same
sarcastic wit--from our first date on she teased me unmercifully. Gale Gordon's Mr. Conklin was his best role. And I'll always think of Richard
Crenna as Walter Denton!

Yeah, Superman with George Reeves! He was really believable, LOL

Well I can remember sitting in front of our black & white TV and being scared out of my wits by this Superman 2-part story with creepy little dudes with a death-ray crawling out of a hole in the ground in 'Superman and the Mole Men'.

Many of these old shows are on the air now on any one of the bazillion new over-the-air channels popping up. I re-scan for new channels every couple of weeks, and I'm finding new ones all the time. Unfortunately most are home shopping channels but are a few are worthy of not deleting from my channel lineup.

For example, here's tonight's lineup on MeTV:

A-yup. Been watching 'em myself now for a couple of years.
Have Gun Will Travel. more than a western, but a lesson in life, a must-watch for the Woke.
Ralph
"H&I" channel runs 2 episodes of that right after 2 episodes of "Wanted Dead Or Alive" starting at 7A my time.
"Wanted...."...Steve McQueen.

The other 2 things I like about old shows are:

Car spotting

And seeing bit players who were later to become famous, like Richard Pryor in a Gunsmoke episode. Wow.

The Rat Patrol
which is one show I vaguely remember that has not been mentioned.
Eric Braeden was the German nemesis commander, went on to become Victor, major money player in "The Young and the Restless" daytime soap. Major star in that field, series is still ongoing to this day.

Actually used to watch it when working at Heath/Zenith store because the Heathkit 45" projection TV was kept on for the floor traffic, even fed by the Heathkit home satellite receiver system installed in the store. And fed into the Heathkit high-end stereo component system. Working demos.
(Re the Satellite system, this was the '80's, like '87)
:geek:
But Y&R was over-the-top fun to watch for a while there. :D

OK I see Stuball got "Dragnet" but y'all missed another couple of great cop shows:
The Untouchables
CHIPS one of my favorite car-spotting shows, along with
TJ Hooker (because we gotta have some cheese on our TV pizza.) Even had a reunion with Leonard Nimoy:

:D
And don't forget Heather Locklear managed to commute between LA and Dallas to film both series simultaneously...🙃

But Dragnet..ahhh, Dragnet... magnificent. (also another great car-spotting show). Anybody else ever notice how when Friday walked, he never moved his arms? Almost robotic. 😁

And the first episode of the mid-sixties series was "The LSD Story: Blue Boy", in color... :sneaky:
