You didn't mention Bugs Bunny and Road Ronner. Had to get up early on Saturday to see those!

I also liked The Pink Panther cartoons.

Started off with Bugs, Roadrunner and Daffy this morning, then Nightcourt and now peeing our pants to 3rd Rock. So un-PC. Back when people actually had some level tolerance and a sense of humor.

Yes, but Gerry & Sylvia Anderson also did UFO and Space 1999!

LOVED UFO - I have all of them on DVD. Space 1999 was too over-the-top trying to be campy Star Trek for me.
I loved UFO, which featured Nick Drakes sister and Benedict Cumberbatch's mother in major roles; also Michael Caine's wife in a minor role.
Space 1999 evolved from cancelled plans for a second UFO series. I quite liked the first series, but the second series was dire! Co-producer Fred Freiberger ("the Serial Killer") tends to get the blame, just as he does for Star Trek. He was apparently brought in to try to make the show appeal more to American audiences. As a 10 year old watching the episode "Dragons Domain" (first series), when it was first broadcast, I had nightmares for several nights afterwards!

Yeah, all the Warner Bros. Cartoons!

I love Yosemite Sam.

When I was a kid, I'd pop out of bed early on Saturday mornings (cartoon day) to watch an hour of The Three Stooges followed by an hour of Cartoon Carnival, followed by The Bugs Bunny Show. Those were the days.

Remember "Black Jaque Shellaque?"

I think 3rd Rock is probably my favorite comedy series!

(not verbatim)
Dick: What seems to be the problem?
Coach: Your son won't climb the rope.
Dick: What's at the top?

That entire episode was hilarious. It may have been the first one, not certain.

I had a white rooster I named Belvedere based on Yosemite Sam. I think he was calling his dog that was named Belvedere?

But my all-time favorite has got to be Foghorn Leghorn!

For me, too! Now you can't even see a lot of them because they are deemed too violent or too "other things".

Some people need to move on... "alone". There I go again.
