Well, they predicted sunshine today and it's clouded up and now drizzle. And it's down to 32 tonight. Wouldn't it be fun to wake up to a blanket of snow? Rare here, but not unheard of. It's snowed 3 times in the last 18 years here. I hope it does!!

Only a couple inches tops here, but stIll coming down, wet & heavy...this can't be the horrible Armegeddon storm they predicted on nation news last night, with 80 mph winds...our broadcasts had 1-3", 3-5" or 3-6"...LOL

Out shopping yesterday, I decided to stop at coffee shop for a cup of java and a snack.

The woman, two people in front of me in the line up at the order counter, asked for something like a low fat, low foam, soy/almond-blend, double shot, caramel macchiato with sugar-salt sprinkles.

I looked up at the coffee menu on the wall, and I thought, “This is just like toothpaste and guitar strings, too many choices, way too many choices. Life was simpler when the choices were cream, sugar, or cream and sugar.”

The cheerful young woman behind the order counter suddenly interrupted my dark and brooding thoughts. It was my turn. “What can I get you?” she asked.

I replied, “A coffee, please.”

She looked confused and said, “No, I mean how do you want it?”

I said, “Black and bitter like my personality.”
