Although not on that list, Scottish tap water is excellent! English, on the other hand, is very variable. I have a brother who lives in Great Malvern, which is noted for it's very popular mineral water; the tap water is disgusting and he never drinks it! Fortunately, he is able to take a short drive and fill up a load of bottles from a public (and free) spring, by the roadside

Not convinced...Nearly-boiling water in both cases, longer wait for the tea to infuse, still, tea is scalding.

My Mom taught be a trick with a french press. She grew up in 40's and their coffee was strong. Mostly percolator and always black. I have never seen her put anything in her coffee, ever. No doubt she thinks to herself people who do are weak lol

Still, she would stir the coffee and hot water as it was brewing once, and this makes the press push down with total ease.

My wife is a diabetic, and my son doesn’t eat sweets. I would be doomed if my daughter didn’t keep a jar of Biscoff cookie butter in her room while home from college. I’m pretty sure she knows where it’s going, but she continues to keep it stocked anyways.
