I have the old 60’s or older chrome percolators . But I use the Bodum 12 cup vacuum pot .Percolators are in style again. If not, cowboy coffee in a pan works.
Finally getting around to dropping that mower deck, it stopped raining.

Why is it sometimes it's near impossible to press down, and xplodes on the counter, and sometimes it goes down without any resistance?
I think it may be related to the fineness of the coffee grind: French press needs a coarse grind. I know when I use too fine a grind in a French press I encounter a lot of resistance.
