I have a Univox from Florida that has "Petty" etched on the back.

What are the tubes on that? 6BM8s or 6AQ5s?
You've got to find the Kessel connection- that's cool!
holy crap! Is that yours? Talk about a holy grail amp! P10Q speakers?
Yes, though I recently sold it (had replacement P10R speakers). Funny thing, it wasn't a holy grail for me. Neither was my '61 Twin. They just didn't do it for me and people think I'm crazy for that.Is that yours? Talk about a holy grail amp! P10Q speakers?

oh, I do get that - all very personal, people go gaga over original Vox AC30's, and I can't get a sound I like out of them. A friend of mine had a '60 tweed bassman, and I still think about that amp and how perfect it was !!!Yes, though I recently sold it (had replacement P10R speakers). The Marshall with Dano that some guy desperately wanted long after I'd pulled the Reverb ad, coming to my senses, but he had to have it. No fee side deal, didn't really mind that, but my Dano's gone...
All things must pass.

Yeah after having my twin for a bit I think I like my Mesa better. Definitely no buyers remorse it’s a great amp just not the Mesa . I think I just wanted a new amp so bad in my head I convinced myself something was going on that wasn’t because I haven’t heard a thing since I got my fenderYes, though I recently sold it (had replacement P10R speakers).
