If my D25 is any indicator, I think '96 was a VERY good year for Westerly. It's also been said by a member who used to work in Westerly (Hideglue) that the period following Fender's takeover in '95 was the high point for Westerly QC.atmarama said:The 12 string is said to be in very good nick - http://durban.gumtree.co.za/c-Stuff-for ... Also keen to get more into 12 strings

USD $750 average to $1300 mint. Sounds like a good trade to me.

Thanks Dave! The GAD is a 30RE so we must add a first class fishman pickup and sweetly discreet soundhole mounted preamp. It is also beyond mint condition, so probably a fair swap I reckon then...

You are still getting the better end of the deal.
Without any issues, the JF-30-12 is still worth at least $400.00 more than the GAD with pickup.
Not surprised & probably not outrageous. You guys in the US don't know how lucky you are (or how unlucky the rest of us are) with regards to musical instrument pricing.frettedstrings said:12,500 Rand = $1741.04 USD.......

The Guild had 1/8" action at the 12th fret and little bone left. I took it to Paul Nerri and he say that there was tons of meat on the bridge. He sanded it down a bit, and the guitar is now an absolute dream to play -- the tone , of course, is just ridiculous as anyone on this forum knows.... Do the deal!
