Heck, I have 15 guitars cramped in various rooms throughout our townhouse, and I'm doing my best to justify hanging on to each one of them. I know it's crazy especially at my playing level and lack of regular gigging, but it's midlife crisis I can live with!

So.... I'd keep the D35 unless you are convinced you will not go back to it at some point in the future. If you can never envision yourself regretting the sale, maybe consider it.

FY... You're making me feel so much better! I agree it must be a mid life (late life) crisis. That's an illness isn't it? I've got 'em in the closets, under the bed, on stands and at the office... I just recently concluded, with help from loving spousal unit, that I can only play one at a time. I promised to trim down to something reasonable... A couple 12ers and a couple 6ers seems reasonable. OK... maybe three or four of each...

I suppose you're all right... I'd probably regret it down the road... So I guess I'm doomed to carry around 5 guitars... and 3 keyboards, and 2 autoharps, and a banjo, and 5 tin whistles... that I don't play... for now... Good grief! Maybe I should just go ahead and open a music shop!

or a music school

I'm reminded of this; "Oreo Cookie Blues" by Lonnie Mack..............

Chocolate on my fingers, icing on my lips
Sugar diabetes and blubber on my hips
I keep the night light burning in the kitchen baby
So I can go downstairs and cruise
I got them oreo creme sandwich
Chocolate covered creme filled cookie blues

I hide'em in a cabinet, I keep'em in a jar
For emergency's you know I keep'em in the
Glove compartment of my car
And I can't live without'em
They git' me higher than I can get on booze
I got them oreo creme sandwich
Chocolate covered creme filled cookie blues

Doctor says I'm crazy
You better give'em up and quick
Or you'll be pushing up daisies because
Boy you definitely sick
I couldn't quit if I wanted to
Yeah I don't wanna lose
It's them oreo creme sandwich
Chocolate cover creme filled cookie
Built by nabisco, ain't no rookie
Next best thang to nookie blues

Hi Carol, you just need to have the feeling that you've done something to help the over whelming/guilt of all those musical instruments that you can't fit into your life schedule. You'll manage, I promise. For I too share in some of the seeming insurmountable chaos of having to justify too many instruments, You have a way cool collection, and I have several more than I need. I even bought an old Anjo the other day...$20. High action, but maybe good for slide??? (plus it came with a soft gig bag that I can use for my newly acquired d25) And also have a yamaha keyboard that I know too little about. So while I struggle to deal with my own dilemmas, typicallly, its easier to solve someone elses' problem/situation, and I have the perfect solution...not for me..............for you!!! Sell one of the tin whistles. Your friend in spirit.....Steffan :D

Made you smile?! 8)

I asked if I could have a sportscar and she said no.

I asked if I could get a girlfriend and she said NO!

I asked if I could get another guitar and woke up smelling of gasoline.

What?? No apartment upright piano? You still got it easy.
