Yes hurricanes are bad, but I'll take as many you want to throw at me against one tornadoe!
Granted, I don't live right on the water, nor in a flood zone, thankfully.

Wow! I didn't think any place on the Island was that high. As to your dry summer, you didn't get any of the rain like we had here last week? We had several inches in large parts of Connecticut, I think we had 3 or more here and we're only 3-4 miles from the shore.
