Ok this is the 77 F50 R You'll notice a 'stone' on the shield, Its actually an agate, given to me in the 70s by a young girl who told me it was 'a glass pillow to dream on'. I couldn't think of a better place to keep it.... Steffan

Yeah, and that's just the headstocks!

I don't want to start any quarrels here, but do you see any obvious differences between the Guild headstock, and the Martin and Taylor headstocks? Inlays, etc. have never come standard on other American made guitars...

Pikeley......are those built in the United States? I know I've heard they once were, were then built overseas and now some Washburn models are built here again. Is that accurate?

They sound great Joe. They were hand built in '95 in Dana's old shop in Maine West. 150 Cherokees, 20 Apaches. Their acoustics are all imports now, but they build both USA and import electrics.

The most special thing about this headstock is that it's coming to my place, soon. It's in the shop right now but should be here in time for the dinner crowd tomorrow.

I have a brand new hanger ready for it. :wink:
