Trying to get a handle on the "news" lately reminds me of the Firesign Theater album "Everything You Know Is Wrong."
Firesign Theater?? Wow, that's a blast from the past!! What was that routine they did, "Don't Crush That Dwarf, Hand me the Pliers!" I seemed to think they were funny back then. I wonder what I'd think now?
I never really got Firesign Theater but I confess that I can take or leave most Monty Python as well so there is definitely a blind spot in what I consider funny.

About the beginning of the month I realized that Facebook had become a time sink and a source of stress. The later is my own fault because I keep thinking I can fix stupid.
thanks for weighing in friends. it took about an hour to download all my photos/videos from 2009 I had posted up there, 7 GB of data yeesh. So I have them stored in a secure place for posterity .

And to think that only couple decades ago we had a book delivered free to every household. It had names, adresses, phone numbers. All set up nicely, so you could see which ones fit together.
