Hans, any idea why they went with G-75 as a model number? Seems like an odd choice.

Seems like a Guild thing to do.........
Got it! Thanks Hans! The body shape confused me, which isn't hard to do.I know what it is and like I said in my earlier posting, it's made of parts that were leftover from the Spring Hill facility. The Nashville Custom Shop did a few of those with both cutaway and non-cutaway bodies and various body woods.
Sincerely,
Hans Moust

Since I'm not familiar with the flexibility in a custom shop I assume when it's stated that there were only 6 it meant 6 of the exact same model build. Ie all dreadnaughts.Got it! Thanks Hans! The body shape confused me, which isn't hard to do.

Welcome! From your description I would say you have one of the early Custom Shop guitars that were done in Nashville. These were actually made with leftover bodies from the Fender Spring Hill facility. Most of these early guitars are 'one-of-a-kind' models that were basically put together to build an interest for the Guild Custom Shop, which had just started up.
Those were actually some of the very first Guild guitars made in the Nashville Custom Shop in 1997. Like number 28 ever made there.Since I'm not familiar with the flexibility in a custom shop
