Oxnard D-55 natural, bought new last April. I've had some issues. The nut had to be recut to solve an intonation and tuning problem. Then (some of you will remember) I discovered it had been built with the wrong bridge; they used rosewood instead of ebony. I noticed when the color started coming off on the bridge pins and saddle.
Then, to cap it all, the finish is flaking off the neck:
I know that's not much, yet, but it shouldn't be happening and I want it fixed before it becomes a larger problem.
When I saw that starting to happen I took it to my local guy, who took that picture, but he's not able to service it; Guild requires it sent back to them. So I reluctantly boxed it up (glad I saved the box and packing) and shipped it to Oxnard yesterday. I'm also having them replace the bridge with the proper ebony.
I hope FedEx doesn't damage it.
EDITED to remove a contentious statement.
