If the bracing is healthy and you're not planning to put 13's on it, the top will probably stay as it is.

On the treble side of the pup, there is an extra arch that I should have thrown a clamp on. Debating if I should lift the cutaway and clamp it flatter. With a pickguard, it probably wouldn't be too noticable.

Been busy with other things, but the mighty Mr. Moust has located the proper tailpiece for this project. Whenever it makes it across the pond, I will have the last piece of the puzzle.

I've done some nickel plating on old razors, quite an easy process and good fun.

Question about binding. At this point in time, was the back binding solid white, and the top was w/b/w? I seem to remember that it was, but I don't recall.

I think it varied. My '61 had a single bound white top as well as a single bound white back, but I've seen CE-100s just as you described with a 3-ply w-b-w top and single bound white back.
