So then you won't disturb anyone when they bring you the mandolin :)
Speaking of mandolin... This has always been one of my favorite mandolin performances.... I wonder what happened to these guys; very talented. Anyway, dread, hope you feel better really soon. Enjoy:

Much love in Philly for The Hooters. They're still performing:

Their drummer, David Uosikkinen (who I've met and talked with) has an interesting project called "In The Pocket" that gets together to cover some of Philly's iconic songs:

Hooked up to an IV Lasix cocktail, heart monitor wires, and I feel like a pincushion. A least I've got that going for me!

Oh, and perpetually thirsty as I'm on a strict fluid restriction.

I noticed your footer there Marc. Would you like me to bring you some Bourbon?

So apparently my heart is in worse shape than I realized. They tell me it's only functioning at 30-40%. Had a long talk with the palliative care team and my wife today, discussing all the different possibilities and eventualities. The plan at this point is to get me home and NOT get fluid overloaded again. This will mainly require a strict salt reduction and fluid restrictions. I'll have a care team coming to my house periodically. Plus my nurse wife and nurse daughter are watching over me closely.

I hope you are home, comfortable, and back with your guitars, mandolin, and family soon.

And I hope that your being tag-teamed by the family nurses is not too exasperating.

Man of man, Dread. Hang in there, and listen to the doctors and nurses. They know best. Prayers ALL the time.

Sorry to hear. Hope you do better at home. Please give your wife your login info to keep us updated if you're not feeling well enough.🍀
