Guild section or other Gear. DeArmond M70

I had an M-72, an M-77T and a Jetstar, all very nice guitars for the money. Mine were all made in Korea, I believe by Cort. The Goldtone pickups sound really great.

The Very First Rock Song You Remember Hearing That Changed Your World...

Just to ad - the first record I absolutely had to own was Santo & Johnny's 'Sleepwalk'. I loved this record so much (still do) I bought it before I even owned a record player. Back then, once a record fell off the charts, it was almost impossible to find a copy of it.

The Very First Rock Song You Remember Hearing That Changed Your World...

I'm 75, so I can remember when rock and roll first started breaking out. I remember Bill Hailey when I was around 10, it was ok, but just dance music to me. But then my older cousin played a new record he just bought - 'Bo Diddley' - WOW it was like something from another planet! A few months...

    DeArmond Jet-Star 1998 by Guild

Back to the original question - I had a MIK Jetstar for a few years, and I was very happy with the sound and the playability. Those goldtone pickups are great for vintage rock. I sold mine because I couldn't get into the weird 'gumby' shape. I payed $200 for it new. Just make sure it comes with...

    What strings for a NH F-30 ?

If you want a fatter more powerful sound, you might want to try DR Rares. I've used DRs on all my guitars for years, very happy with them.

    Happy Birthday, Keith Richards!

Yeah, 'Life' was a great read - perhaps the best of the rock musician bios. Surprisingly well written - I wonder if Keith had a ghost writer help him?
