I'd beg but my Dr says no more ... over the limit for the next three years ... will be contacting Weber today. Check that ... solved the mechanical engineering puzzle with the PT as follows (premature ejaculamentation :( ) .... had hoped for 'conventional' arrangement ... AC leads out one side, DC out the other but instead now bunched ... might make trouble getting all 13 through the grommet:

:D

sweet looking little amp (cabinet?) Coastie

Z-man, a word of caution.

If you're planning on taking the Chunder 1 on your next tour, you'd be well advised to consider using conventional grillcloth.
Industrial-strength, those radio grillcloths are not

Well, maybe not a tour, but since it's a Thunder amp, I may try to get a gig with these guys:

But thank you for the tip.

I think I'm ready to pull the trigger on a couple of new webers.
With your approval John I've chosen a 12F125S 8 ohm 20 watt in a green basket.
For the 8", a later breaking alnico, the 8A125T 8Ohm 20 watt.

A new baffle, and new grillcloth, which I haven't chosen yet...WWC99D?

Hi Zac; yes, those will be fine. T.A. 'Ted' Weber died last year. He's made a living committing himself to the Jensen tone and to high-performance speakers. It's a bona fide small business in Indiana; your speakers won't be built until you order them. At least in alnico, if you can't afford a Celestion Gold or Blue, then it's Weber and no reason at all to doubt the performance of their ceramics.

Don't forget the Ferlingheimers and anticipate having to counter-sink them ... no real way to judge but the Mojos look like 1". If so, might not offer enough thread for the nut to bite on once the speaker lip is sitting there. When laying out and cutting the baffle, remember to mark front/back/up/down on both sides or else you (like I) will have the start of a collection of baffles that are the reverse or upside-down of what you wanted ... :(

hey no worries default, wasn't really in the market for those anyway, but when/if you decide to get rid of them, and if you think of me....

enjoying the speaker GAS capn, a new flavor of gas for me.

The Webers are under construction, birch baffle and grill cloth ordered. Fahrfergnugens, too, I almost ordered 10 dozen instead of 10

Thinking of designating my amp the T1RVT-ME for "most expensive", but I'm proud of the amp. I need to make a slip cover at least, maybe even a road case eventually.

And I believe the whole guild amp world is left wondering what the heck kind of strange conversation did capnjuan and coastie99 get into that they had to edit out!!

Well ... when you get the new speakers in, we can discuss new amp feet; is nylon really better than rubber for bass like people say it is ... and what are the tone implications of fresh v. aged tolex ... There is one more move after the speakers if you want to mess with it and that's the two output transformers ... not particularly expensive but the chance of a tangible uptick might be at the edge of two standard deviations ... can't say for sure that it would warrant the time and money ... but the feet ....
