The first I ever encountered that song was somebody posted a link on a guitar forum to "five people on one guitar" and they played and sang that on an epiphone

Great cover, I actually dig the song and started following Kimbra, the girl from the original tune. Odd, but very talented

I had this stuck there yesterday for a minute, but humming Waiting on the Bus scared it away ...

I gotta get this thread back on track:

I love that song!

Here are a few of my latest:
A few days ago, while, digging through childhood 45s, I came across this two-hit wonder band with both gems on the same record, sides A and B. Unfortunately, I couldn't get them outta my head for days. Such 70s sappy silliness.

And then I came across this, and it's still stuck with me!

Two worms that recall from my college years. I don’t remember which was the A side and which was the B side. They both might have been B side. You listen to these for too long and they’d find you splattered at the bottom of a high rise.

Canada .... brrr
A few weeks ago we watched the Daisy Jones series on Amazon. It has Patti Smith song Dancing Barefoot as title track. It's been in my head since then, and each time I take the guitar out I belt it out a couple of times. So far no relief though.

For me, right now the song stuck in my head is "You won't see me", by that British Group from Liverpool.
I heard it a week or so ago on the radio for the first time in a long while, and discovered a video showing how the individual instrumental parts are played.

Since then I've been working on learning to play those lovely chord inversions waaay up the fretboard and of course, now I seem to be humming it over and over, all the time.
Could be much worse.
It could be "Purple people eater" or "Itsy, bitsy, teeny, weeny, yellow polka dot bikini".

That is a fun song to play!

I also find that if I am working a on a particular song it always gets stuck in my head until I learn it well enough to shake it out. I guess it helps to learn it, but it's bit annoying!

Today's continuous replay is Led Zeppelin, Battle of Evermore.

I've never seen Lord of the Rings, but now I want to.

For me today it's this one. Sometimes if I play a "stuck-in-my-head" song on guitar, it goes away. I will try that. :)
