This is why I love my 1995 Subi Legacy Wagon ;]
That sucks, walrus. By 2013 you'd think that all the kinks would be worked out. I'm going to guess that your winter problems were just that air pressure drops with temperature. But, I'm sure you already knew that.
Past a certain degree of deterioration inside the plastic, there is NOTHING that can bring it back to the "like new" transparency.I got halfway through Bluespicky's experience with headlight lenses on my GF's old Prius when someone told me about gloss clear coat acrylic spray paint. Like new in $15 and 15 minutes!
No, the TPMS will reflect the change in air pressure, that's their purpose in life.Never heard of this.
What happens if you inflate or deflate your tires? You have to pay $40 at the dealer?!?!
I heard of people lifting their pickups and had to get the sensors reset at dealer too.
Grot, that's a fair question, but winter is a lot different down on the Jersey shore than it is in New England. IMO, all season tires are not up to the task. Road crews do a fantastic job here, don't get me wrong, but I won't do without AWD and snowies.
