Thanks!

Now if you get a chance, put the camera inside and take some pics of the internal bracing. Thats the hot stuff!

There are some example pics in that thread I linked to earlier.

Thanks for feeding my curiosity!

hmmm. i'll need a much smaller camera to do that, or to de-string it, which i'm not going to do just yet. ;)

i love my camera, takes great photos, but it's an older model and rather large. couldn't squeeze into a soundhole like, well, a ferret... ;)

i'll be happy to do that when i can...

Can't you just notch out around the soundhole a bit?

Yeah, I had to slack the E and A strings up in order to fit my clunker in there, although the chisel idea may work as well!

Yow! That's some nice looking rosewood on that baby too. Beautifully matched. I'll bet it sounds tremendous.

and of course, thanks to everyone for your responses and well wishes. so many of you chimed in that this topic would get very long if i responded to each post, but know that i read them all, and while it's always a wonderful day when you bring home a new Guild, it makes it so much better to be able to share the moment with a community that cares, and *knows* what it means.

i appreciated each and every response. :)

That is one beautiful guitar, acid. What does the F-212XL think of the new F-50R? I have to say, my F-212XL adjusted nicely to the F-50 that came to live at my house around Christmas time last year!! :D

yeah, they got along fine. there was a little territorialism and rivalry at first, especially when my dad decided to put them bout to bout to see which body was bigger (answer: the F50R, by 1/2 an inch or so...), which caused some friction and hard feelings between them, but soon they were harmonizing like old friends. :)

Yea, Guilds always seem to be good natured and easy to get along with... :D
