Ok Folks! She is home and sounds even better....The manager went and got some ebony pins for me and swapped them out...I noticed that she lost some tone when the swap was done...but decided I would re-seat the strings at home...well the re-seat brought back the tone and WOE MAMA...she is cookin with gas now!
This guitar has a Piano sounding low end. The mids are punchy and the highs are a tad light...so my next move is to put on a slightly heavier gauge Hi E and B string...I have done this before on other guitars and this really brings a good amount of punch to the high end.
As others have mentioned...the fit and finish on this guitar is top notch...the kerfling is substantial looking and clean of glue and debris.
There is what looks to be an ebony bridge plate
Frets are nicely rounded and no sharp or protruding edges. Bone nut and saddle
I love the grain and color of the wood!
Grover Rotomatic Chrome-Plated Die-Cast Tuners are smooth and seem to hold secure.
Saddle is nice and High
Action is medium low 3/32" Hi E and 4/32" Low E (bottom of string to top of fret).
All in all a beautiful guitar

I love the tone of this guitar...so warm and deep...finger picking is a dream with lots of overtones...sustain is wonderful.
Light to medium strumming sounds best...heavy strumming and she starts to break up a bit but even that sounds good...If I went to a medium light or medium set of strings that may help her a bit with heavy strumming. She comes stock with D'Addario® Phosphor Bronze, Light .012 to .053 strings. May try a set of Martin SP mediums on her and see what happens.
Well thats all I can think of for now...back to playing...so far I am truly impressed and feel very fortunate to be playing something this nice.
