Cliff, right you are. She was lurking in a Black Spruce watching him yesterday, have not seen her today. Real, real skittish pair they are.

I swear, it got up to about 16 degrees and it was colder than last night! Wind has come up... =(

You're right. I should have gone for the non tinted Crown.... I was attracted by the "maple" idea thinking it was just "aged" in maple barrels, but there's too much flavor added.
I don't dislike it, but it gets old quick. I'm missing the straight stuff. Good news is there's a Courvoisier waiting for me there, just have to go back. Time to man up. Should have stuck with Cognac in the first place.... here's to "experimenting". :grumpy:

Cointreau is a must though. A little drier than GM, just awesome after the crepes au beurre... ositive:

Crepes? CREPES? Real men don't eat CREPES! Pancakes, flap-jacks, lattkes...something heavy and robust to fill your belly before/after you have just gone out to shovel the driveway, chainsaw up that tree that has fallen, etc...

All the while wearing an LL Bean Black-Watch plaid shirt... =)

As the Bald Eagle flies, those peaks are north of Vancouver, BC, 60 miles away, give or take.

all is swell in scituate....18" snow, some coastal flooding, and i have the flu

i actually live about 2 miles from the surf, so i'm out of the flood zone and more in the hills and forests of our town
