Let us not forget Bemidji State University, BSU, home of the fighting beavers.

That was a good recap of the game Darryl. SMSU had to do it mostly from the outside, too difficult to penetrate the beavers.

     Oh boy, we need more to do!   I'm far worse than any of you. Penetrate the Beavers ha?

OK......did you know...............

That Beaver College in PA renamed itself to be called Arcadia College/University for reasons of wanting to leave the connotation of its old name "behind" itself. Had the astute scholars researched their name choice of "arcadia" a bit more carefully, they would find that they have traded one questionable connotation for a more explicite denotation referring to reproductive parts of the human anatomy in ancient languages of the learned.

Maybe they schould have just said, "Leave it to Beaver!" ......or was that Cle....oh......
never mind!

Beaver College went coed shortly before the name change. I am not sure whether or nor male students liked going to Beaver College (it sure sounds like extra-curricular activities could be fun) but the administration thought a name change would be better.

I always enjoyed my trips to Beaver College.

My wife picked up her Masters in early Ed there. It's about ten minutes from my house, BTW.

As I recall, there was a run on men's sweatshirts when they announced the name change.

I would have bought one myself but, <insert punchline here>

I don't sweat that much...
I really wanted the fur-lined, logo'd jockstrap but they were out of them....
The bus was leaving soon.

Where does Takamine (a non-bowl Kaman brand) make their high-end acoustics, like the ones Springsteen and others use?

Perhaps the stable of Tak endorsees may get a whif of Guild.

Who knows, if sister-brand Guild could get a jumbo or a 12 into the hands of a major performer on a leg of a major tour or a concert DVD, it could generate interest?

Your lips to God's ears NeoFauve. When FMIC re-issued the Starfires and S-100s in the 90s, it would of been a good time to try and interest a heavyweight. I don't think they did and don't know whether they tried. cj

You may be just able to squeeze into the Knee-knocker without too much coiling .... logo'ing would be extra....
