Eric Theodore Cartman is #1 even though he has the quote, "Real guitars are for old people!"

Brock Samson is a close #2.

I never get tired of South Park. It would be tough to pick one character.........although Cartman does hate hippies. That's a plus! ;)

One of my all-time favorites is Bill and Opus in the Bloom County Christmas special "A Wish for Wings That Work." Truffles the pig is hilarious too. If you haven't seen it I recommend it. It's on YouTube,

Ha! That was my first thought too, but I figured I'd stick with cartoons and not comic strips.

This is one of my favorites:

As a kid, I used to love the Beatles cartoons, but that probably doesn't count. I'll go with any of the old Hanna-Barbera cartoons, Huckleberry Hound, Peter Potomas, Snagglepuss, Magilla Gorilla, etc. Love those!

Go get the axe, there's a flea on Lizzie's ear

I agree with AB on Rocky and Bullwinkle. Tennessee Tuxedo was a close second.

In the not suitable for younger viewers category: Fritz the Cat.

E. Fudd tops my all-time list, with that hard-luck Wiley (sp?) Coyote a close runnerup. He kept 'Acme' in business for many years.

Joe

My favorite Roadrunner is when Wiley bought those homing missles from Acme, of course, launches them and then all thru the rest of the cartoon, they home in on him.

I remember the Beatles cartoons, I think they were a spin-off from Yellow Submarine. Poor Ringo always the dufus.

Since some of us are old school, who remembers Ding Dong School and Romper Room. One of them would have cartoons, I think Romper Room.
And the Captain......Captain Kangeroo :D
Decorated for bravery at Iwo Jima, was Lee Marvins LT. Mr. Marvin was on Johnny Carson once talking about his experience at Iwo Jima. Told how he and others were hunkered down on the beach and their LT was walking upright trying to get them to move up.

Mr Greenjeans and the moose.......corny as it may seem today, it certainly wasn't corny then. Great times to grow up in :D
