What a great ninth inning the Rangers put together. This is what October baseball is all about. Should be an excellent Series. :D

 Shheew! They've got to start hitting though, especially out of the 3 and 4 slot, but as it turned out, their sacrifice were all that were needed.

Some serious heads-up base running and pure athletisism up the middle beat the Cards Thursday night. The Rangers will really have to stay on top of their game to go all the way. Cards are an incredible baseball team.

The Rangers have to pull this out. Scratch's lovely wife is an avid Cards fan and she and I have a dinner bet on the outcome! The talking heads can say what they will on TV, but I think there haven't been two more evenly matched teams in the series in years.

Pam is originally from southern Illinois where they knew no better than to cheer for the Cards. Not to say that I'm a Cards fan, dang it.. GO RANGERS!!! And somehow I'm gonna lose out on this bet either way! That just ain't right

C'mon down! Gruene awaits...

Come on up......Avinger, and the best steak in Northeast Texas awaits, not to mention "Tele's" and the most incredible Mexican ever eaten......not to mention some great pickin' at the Lazy B. Seems like we were down there the last time? Gas prices are a bitch, aren't they?

I'll get with Pam and see if we can find time to visit for a few weeks or so...

Seriously speaking; we're ready to get away for a weekend. If Pam loses; is there a McDonalds nearby?

Hey West, hopefully the Rangers didn't use up all their bats on Detroit!

No kidding, they hit Verlander better than this, and he's a stud!

Albert Whooooooooo?

King Albert, I'd say. I don't really have a favorite in this Series. I pretty much wrote the Brewers off by mid-September, and as a Brewers fan I'm inclined to root against the Cardinals. I'm a big Nolan Ryan fan, have a poster of him on the wall. All that being said, the Cards put on an offensive clinic last night. I think tonight's game will tell the tale...
